So I was eating my post-lunch snack, while editing this post and started eating gummy bears like it was my first and last meal on earth. Long story short, I choked. I choked on my favorite candy ever! It took me a second to regroup because I really almost just got taken out by a seemingly soft candy.
Like what would that headline even say? I intended to have this posted by 2: I WILL slip and bust my ass. So there goes that theory, maybe I am a penguin. Calm down. He ordered it anyway. I tried a piece of his steak because of course I did and it was actually pretty good. Medium rare and juicy. It usually comes with some kind of red sauce, but they left it off and I actually liked it better that way. Lots of shrimp. Lots of grits.
Lots of cheese. Hella flavor. I like Rialto because the service is usually on point here. Our server, Mike I think his name was Mike. He looked like a Mike was coming back to refill our glasses w champagne every 5 mins. My glass was never empty! They give you a glass with just champagne, and then you head over to the juice bar and put in as much or as little juice in as you want.
But you can choose from pomegranate, peach, pickle berry or something like that , blackberry, and passion fruit.
The juice is probably there for color. Great article! Food was greasy and not that fresh. Won't be back. We went for a business dinner for 8. Service and food were excellent. My guests were from out of town and enjoyed the 16th Street Mall location. This place is always great! Perfect before a theater event, it's big and roomy, and they take reservations.
Love the chicken piccata and bison meatloaf! Great food, great service, great ambiance. Would definitely come back here! We had 7 people arriving at different times and all wanting separate checks. The server took time with everyone and kept us all happy and well served. The Happy Hour menu is available in the dinning room and was a great value. Truffle fries and bison burger were delicious as was the wedge salad. Key lime pie w coconut and macadamia nut crust is a must.
Rialto Cafe – Mimosas On A Sunday
Great place, go there when we go to the theatre. They have a special menu n discount parking. Great trained staff. Rialto is a fun place for brunch and has bottomless mimosas, which is always great. They do have a great juice variety for the mimosas and we enjoyed being able to try different kinds, as well as the amount of juice. Overall, very tasty and nice, but slooooooooow service.

I felt like the breakfast was overpriced and the kids menu offered only 4 choices for breakfast. The food was just "okay" as nothing in particular stood out. The pastry bar was filled will hard scones and unripe fruit. I have live din Denver my entire life and have always wanted to eat here. Let's just say I won't be back, way too many other great places to eat here.
Superb filets The food and drinks were delicious. They have a great Happy Hour! A nice quiet and low key evening.
SORRY, NO CALL-AHEAD DINE IN ORDERS.
The atmosphere was good and the bottomless mimosa bar was awesome We were in Denver to celebrate New Years Eve, and this seemed to be a great place to ring in the new year. It was just as nice as the reviews I had read described it. The drinks and food were both great. As well as the service. Our waitress was attentive and also quite helpful. I would absolutely return to the cafe if I'm ever in Denver again. I'd also recommend this place for anything ranging from a business lunch to a romantic date. Great location. Ate here for New Years Eve dinner and to catch 9pm fireworks show just a block away.
My favorites are the French Onion soup and Prince Edward Island mussels - much better than can get at some east coast seafood establishments! Service was very friendly and accommodating - we left our table in between starter and entree to watch New Years fireworks for minutes and they were fine with that.
We were here for NYE with a group of four. On a positive note, we were seated right on time, our waiter was very friendly and our drinks were served promptly. The butternut squash soup was very good, but the French onion soup was not a success. The steak Diane was very tasty but the two orders of the eggplant were lacking in the advertised portabella mushrooms.
Rialto Cafe Deals
We think we saw two pieces. Why would you skimp on quality on such a grand night to show off your wares? He made the night. You are blessed to have him. Wonderful food and service, the last 3x we have been there. Will certainly continue to come!!! New Year's Eve. This is the second time my friend and I have been to Rialto. I had the vgetabel salad with salmon and he had the filet mgnon.
We also had brussel sprouts for appetizers. Yet again, the food was spectacular. The brussel sprouts were crunchy and nicely seasened. The way my salmon and vegetables were flavored was delicious and both were cooked to perfection. The filet melted in my mouth and the vegtables were excellent as well. Top all that off with the chocolate cake for desert, and couldn't have had a better New Year's Eve dinner. Rialto Cafe's location is perfect. The food was well prepared and tasty.
Service was polite and attentive. We would give the restaurant a higher rating, but the decor is dated and worn. A remodel should be in the Cafe's immediate future. The food was great. Very creative with their side that went with the entry. I loved that everything was made with fresh ingredients. Service was excellent. Great spot before a show. Like the multiple areas for seating. Great service. Made reservations for 8 people at Table was not ready until We were going to the theater at 2: We did not order anything special but food was missing from meals and one meal was wrong.
Service was lackluster at best. We normally have good service at Rialto so this day was a bit surprising. Had Mark upstairs serving us and he was great. Always one step ahead of us and very nice. Our meal came out very quickly and our waiter Ben was very nice. Though my shrimp was a bit undercooked, Ben worked with the staff to comp our dessert.
The rest of our meal was filling and delicious. We will go back. The ribs were great as we're the duck tacos and coconut shrimp. I was disappointed by the potatoes agrarian as they were just lukewarm and the blue cheese was really overpowering. Otherwise perfect. Would go again. We have been to the Rialto often, and always look forward to it. Service is always great, servers are pleasant and helpful, the menu is always interesting and different from the typical, it is very cozy if you can get a booth in the back, and we often go for dinner before an event at the DCPA and if we alert our server, they are always wonderful about making sure we leave on time.
Great restaurant, right downtown Very pleasant - feels like you are outside without the sun beating down on you, or the wind blowing around. One of our favorite places!!! If you go to Rialto Cafe hope you get Ben for a waiter. He is fabulous and makes all the difference. Also they can get you in and out before the theater. We go here every time we go to see a play!! In summer sit outside and watch the parade of humanity pass by. In Winter ask for a table by the window. Quieter and you can still see the horses and characters outside. Sign up Sign in.
